IS WAR INEVITABLE

A growing body of scientific evidence demonstrates that human beings are more plastic (adaptable) and reality less fixed than heretofore believed.  From Shakespeare to Einstein, great thinkers have been saying that humans create their reality with thought (imagination) and feeling (energy).  If so…

Do we war because we think war is inevitable?

Emmy winning screenwriter and documentary producer-director, Vickie Patik, is on a quest to find the answer.

International experts in the sciences, humanities and religion, including Nobel Laureates, cutting-edge thinkers and Pulitzer Prize winning authors, will argue their insights in an edited, escalating debate that is both controversial and inspiring.

Interspersed among the experts will be visual clips of non-violent actions which in modern times led to the ousting of dictators or the thwarting or ending of wars, as well as examples of the many cultural ways in which we train and prepare ourselves to war even before there is a “cause.”

This is an examination of war and peace. It is not a soul-crushing, finger-pointing expose.  Neither is it a spoon feed.  As the insights and arguments weave and deepen, viewers will be challenged to make up their own minds, in their own time.
